A personalized woven blanket begins with a clear photograph of the artwork. We prepare it for the blanket, keeping the child-made shapes, handwriting and proportions central to the design.
Your blanket includes preparation of one drawing, a digital layout proof and one correction round. We correct our own preparation errors without charging for an extra revision. You review the layout before it goes to the weaver.
This is a 52 × 37 inch throw for a lap, chair or display. Check the measurements against the space you have in mind; it is not a full-size bed blanket.
Get to know woven cotton
The texture is
part of the picture.
The image is made with colored yarn. That gives a cotton woven blanket its texture, fringe and softer interpretation of the original colors.
Expect some changes in color and fine detail. A screen preview shows placement; the digital proof lets you approve the layout. Neither promises an exact color match to the finished weave.
Bold lines. Clear shapes.
Marker drawings, strong crayon marks and paintings with clear edges give the artwork a readable starting point. Photograph the entire page in even light.
Pale pencil. Tiny lettering.
Fine lines, very small writing, neon colors and subtle gradients can soften or change in woven yarn. Choose a clearer drawing if those details are essential.

How will the colors look woven?
Multicolor artwork is welcome. Cotton yarn gives colors a softer, textured finish. Bright neons, pale pencil, tiny lettering and smooth gradients may change. We review the artwork before sending your final proof.

Can I use more than one drawing?
The current offer is one drawing on one blanket. Multi-image collages are not included. For help choosing, read the children's drawing gifts guide.
Will you redraw or improve my child's picture?
We prepare the photograph and layout for weaving. We do not intentionally redesign faces, handwriting or proportions without your approval. The child's marks are what make the gift personal.
Is this a printed fleece blanket?
No. This is a personalized cotton woven throw. Yarn forms the image, so its texture and color interpretation differ from a photograph printed onto fleece.
Can I order it for a birthday or holiday?
Paid ordering is not currently open on this storefront. A delivery date is not reserved by using the preview or joining the launch list. When ordering opens, check the published production and shipping information before committing to a date. Read shipping and returns.
What if I need a correction or there is a problem?
Review the proof carefully before approval. One correction round is included; our preparation errors are corrected without an extra revision fee. For cancellations, damage and other order problems, read the order terms and customer-care policy.
What happens to the photo I choose?
The free preview stays on your device. If live ordering is available, your drawing is saved privately only when you explicitly continue to checkout. Read how artwork is handled.
