What stays private—and what we measure.

Your artwork stays in your browser
The current artwork preview reads the image on your device so you can preview it. The image, its filename, and its contents are not uploaded to Scribble to Stitch or sent to our analytics provider. Refreshing or closing the page clears the preview.
When paid ordering opens
The production order flow will clearly ask before uploading source artwork. We will use it only to prepare the proof, manufacture the approved blanket, provide support, and resolve a quality issue. We will not use a child's artwork to train an AI model, advertise another order, or create a public gallery without separate explicit permission.
Stripe will process payment information. After proof approval, Printify and its assigned print provider will receive the approved production file and the shipping details needed to make and deliver the blanket. We will not create a child profile or ask for the child's name.
Uploaded artwork and proofs are stored in private object storage, not in site analytics or a public gallery. Original filenames are not retained. Unnecessary embedded image metadata, including common location and camera metadata, is removed before storage.
The planned retention rule is to delete source artwork and working proofs 30 days after confirmed delivery, cancellation, or refund, except while a support issue is open. Limited transaction and support records may be kept when required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. This production flow will not be activated until its deletion control is tested.
Privacy-first site analytics
We use PostHog Cloud in the United States to understand whether the pre-launch site is useful. Analytics are configured in cookieless mode with no person profiles, session replay, heatmaps, or automatic click recording.
We measure only:
- Page visits, referrers, and campaign tags such as UTM links.
- Anonymous actions such as opening or completing the artwork preview, opening an FAQ, or joining the launch list.
- General browser, operating system, device category, and coarse geographic information supplied with ordinary web requests.
We do not use analytics to identify you, build advertising profiles, or sell your activity. Like other hosted analytics services, PostHog processes limited network and device information needed to receive and secure each event. You can read the PostHog privacy notice.
The first-weave email list
If you join the first-weave list, we collect the email address you enter so we can send one update when the physical sample, launch price, and first small test batch are ready. The address is stored in a private database and is never attached to artwork or sent to PostHog.
We keep the address until that launch update has been sent or you ask us to remove it. You can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time by emailing hello@scribbletostitch.com. Direct messages you send to that address are handled as ordinary email and are not copied into PostHog.
Essential hosting and security
Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information needed to deliver the page, prevent abuse, and keep the site available. We do not set analytics cookies.
